John P.  McKleroy Jr., a senior partner with Spain & Gillon, concentrates in general corporate, business and real estate transactions.  He was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 1968 and has been actively engaged in the practice of law since 1968.  He is a member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham, the Monday Morning Quarterback Club and the Birmingham Tip-Off Club.

Mr.  McKleroy graduated from the University of Alabama in 1965 and received his LL.B. in 1968 from the University of Alabama.  He received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Alabama in 1979.  He is a member of the Birmingham Bar Association, Alabama State Bar and American Bar Association.  He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, the Estate Planning Council of Birmingham and the University of Alabama Planned Giving Advisory Committee.  Mr.  McKleroy achieved an AV rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
