Katherine (Katie) L. Taylor practices primarily in the area of insurance defense litigation. She received her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law in 2007, where she was a member and Assistant Justice of the Henry Upsom Sims Moot Court Board. Ms. Taylor completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia in 2004, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration.
After being admitted to the Alabama Bar in September of 2007, Ms. Taylor served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael G. Graffeo, Circuit Judge, 10th Judicial Circuit Alabama from 2007 to 2008.
Ms. Taylor is a member of the Alabama State Bar and Birmingham Bar Association. She is currently serving on the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association Young Lawyer’s section and is a participant in the Alabama State Bar’s 2008 Pilot Mentoring Program. She is admitted to practice in all state courts in Alabama.
Ms. Taylor’s community involvement includes serving on the Junior Board of Cornerstone School’s of Alabama. She works with Young Life Birmingham, and is an active member in the Birmingham Heart Guild.
